We were founded in 1986 by Leonard Feldman, a chiropractor based in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York. Our founder listened carefully to his patients' complaints about existing pain solution products, and inspired by their feedback, he developed a range of footcare products that truly addressed their issues. What started in a humble living room grew into a pioneering footcare company.
We introduced the Triad Orthotic approximately 15 years after our founding, which became a breakthrough product. We were the first to put the word 'orthotic' in the mass-market category, and we sold 2 million pairs in the first year — making us the first non-Dr. Scholl's product to reach number one in a foot-care subcategory. Our success has been built on trying not to compete directly with industry giants, but rather by filling gaps they overlook.
Today we remain a family-owned business, now headquartered in Elizabeth, New Jersey. In April 2024, our footcare device division was acquired by Tommie Copper, integrating our innovative portfolio into their pain management offerings while continuing our legacy of quality foot care solutions.
